Are you curious about food production, farming, and building a more sustainable future? Want to get your hands dirty and make a change?
Now is your chance to join a unique Nordic project and become part of an international group of young people exploring sustainable agriculture — both in theory and in practice.
Seeds of Agency is a new Nordic initiative bringing together young people from Finland, Denmark, and Norway to learn about the challenges of today’s food systems and to discover hands-on solutions.
Participants will quite literally get their hands in the soil, learning what sustainable agriculture looks like in real life while also developing skills to advocate for change. The group will also work together for developing practices of sustainable youth activism.
Join the core group
Luontoliitto is now looking for five participants from Finland to form a core group together with five Danish and five Norwegian young people. This group will dive deeply into the themes of food systems, sustainability, and activism.
As part of the programme, participants will:
- Be part of an international group of passionate young people
- Learn about food systems and sustainable agriculture in practice
- Gain skills in advocacy and sustainable activism
- Take part in 1–3 international camps (all expenses covered)
- Join online sessions between camps (up to five in total)
Camps and schedule:
The programme includes three camps across the Nordics:
- Finland: 4–7 June 2026, Lassila Farm, Tuusula
- Denmark & Norway: October 2026 and April/May 2027
The group will run until May 2027, but you can participate by committing for at least six months starting in April 2026.
Who can apply?
We are looking for young people who are:
- Aged 18–28
- Curious and motivated, no prior knowledge required
- Able to commit for 6–19 months (minimum 6 months)
- Available to join the camp in Finland 4-7 June 2026
- Interested in sustainable activism and food system change
We warmly encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. You don’t need any specific expertise, just curiosity and a willingness to learn together.
