The Nordic Sustainable Agriculture Camp is organized at Lassilan Tila, Tuusula, Southern Finland, 4.-7.6.2026 (Thu-Sun) and is co-hosted by food co-operative Oma Maa!

The camp will get together 20 youths from Finland, Norway and Denmark. At the camp there will be hands-on community farm work, informative sessions about sustainable agriculture & food systems, and learning how to do political advocacy for more sustainable food future!
At the camp we learn agricultural skills in practice and emphasize it as part of sustainable activism. When doing any kind of environmental activism it is important to do also things that you can see the results of easier! Putting your own hands in soil can be an act for both yourself & the environment. Join us to try out!

P.s. Tullaksesi mukaan sinun ei tarvitse tietää maatalous-termistöä englanniksi etukäteen. Pidämme huolen siitä, että jokainen pysyy mukana! // We’ll be conscious about any language barriers at the camp! So don’t worry if you’re not familiar with agricultural terms!

DATE: 4.-7.6.2026 (+ travels for international participants)
PLACE: Lassilan Tila ”Lassila Farm”, Tuusula municipality, Southern Finland. We will meet up at Kerava train station, from where Luontoliitto organizes group transport to the farm.
ACCOMMODATION: In your own tent! We loan tents & camping equipment for those who need.
MEALS: Provided & free (breakfast, lunch, coffee, dinner, evening snack)
WHAT YOU NEED WITH: Full list will be send to those registered. Be prepared to have preferably your own tent & sleeping equipment, clothes & shoes suitable for the finnish early summer (can be chilly!) & farm work.
COSTS: Free for Luontoliitto’s members & those in the Seeds Core Group. / Camp fee for a non-member is 50 e. Luontoliitto reimburses travel tickets for members up to 40e, and also handles buying them. If your ticket would be more expensive, you can contact camp coordinator Hanna before registering to see if we can still cover the expenses. No-show payment for registering but not showing up to the camp is 50e (additional to other costs).
