Ilmainen metsäkonsertti Stansvikissä sunnuntaina 30.8.2026
Ikimetsän kaiku -projekti (Old forest echoes) järjestää metsäkonsertin Stansvikissä sunnuntaina 30.8.2026.
Ikimetsän kaiku -projekti on tehty yhteistyössä Luontoliiton metsäryhmän kanssa. Tänä kesänä pääsemme toteuttamaan taide- ja musiikkitapahtumia vanhoissa luonnonmetsissä ja ikimetsissä, jotka tarvitsevat suojelua.
Metsäkonsertti on tapahtuma, joka yhdistää ihmiset, taiteen ja vanhat luonnonmetsät ainutlaatuisella tavalla. Yhdessä luomme ja vahvistamme yhteyttä vanhoihin luonnonmetsiin sekä niiden merkitykseen.
Metsäkonsertit koostuvat kolmesta elementistä: 1–2,5 tunnin mittaisesta metsäkävelystä, taiteesta sekä itse konsertista. Ohjatun metsäkävelyn aikana pääset kuulemaan metsäasiantuntijaa ja kulkemaan elämyspolulla, jonka varrella on maataiteilija Wiebke Pandikow’n osallistavaa maataidetta. Konsertti järjestetään metsäkävelyn päätepisteessä, jossa Barbora Xu esiintyy luonnon keskellä.
Taiteilijoina tapahtumassa musiikista vastaavat Barbora Xu sekä saksofonisti Tapani Rinne ja kitaristi Niklas Winter. Maataiteesta vastaa Wiebke Pandikov. Tapahtuman aikana pääset kuulemaan myös metsäasiantuntijan puheenvuoron.

Free Forest Concert in Stansvik on Sunday, August 30th !
Old Forest Echoes project is organizing a forest concert in Stansvik on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
The project has been developed in collaboration with our Luontoliitto forest action group. This summer, we’ll be hosting art and music events in old-growth and ancient forests that need protection.
A Forest Concert is an event that brings together people, art, and old-growth forests in a unique way. Together, we create and strengthen our connection to old-growth forests and their significance.
The forest concerts consist of three elements: a 1–2.5-hour forest walk, art, and the concert itself. During the guided forest walk, you’ll hear from a forest expert and walk along an experiential trail featuring participatory art by land artist Wiebke Pandikow. The concert takes place at the end of the forest walk, where Barbora Xu will perform surrounded by nature.
The artists performing at the event include Barbora Xu, saxophonist Tapani Rinne, and guitarist Niklas Winter. Wiebke Pandikow is responsible for the land art. During the event, you’ll also hear a talk by the forest expert.

There are different roles we need to fill (being our contact person in the audience buses, helping by showing the path in the forest if needed, helping to carry things to the forest concert stage, sharing social media posts or translating texts to Finnish if you have time on other days then the forest events and want to spread the word).
